Here’s How To Do Dumbbell Flyes The Right Way


I asked Roland in Body Works Gym, Enniskillen, to demonstrate the correct technique for doing standard lying dumbbell flyes, and he did them very nicely. I uploaded it to my channel on YouTube™. It’s embedded below. The best way to learn this is to get a “feel” for the exercise even before trying it yourself. Things to note:

  • position
  • comfortable weight
  • breathing
  • steady movement

That’s one of the many exercises you can do at home with a good set of Bowflex dumbbells.
